For Black Girls Who Have A Lot to Say is doing a weeklong series on #BlackLove. If you've known me for a few years, you know how much I adore doing weeklong series. For me, series allow space for the passing of information and community building. The Black love series will cover the love of self or as we've come to know it, Radical- Self Love, love of family, love of friends, and the love of a partner. All different, but all interrelated. While Valentine's Day may be looked at as a capitalist holiday to some and a bit lonely for others, let's reclaim this day to celebrate what brings us all together, love.
The Black Love Series will showcase many different forms of art, both written and oral, videos, affirmations, and even letters. We need you. Talk to us on our social media platforms, drop your pics, favorite love songs, and even the latest dating tea.
